This stunning Alpaca Scarf requires the craftmanship of several different makers.
Made by hand by a fair-trade company in Peru, the baby alpaca fur is sheered, processed and hand-dyed. Then attached to the neckline is a hand-knit base made of the same baby alpaca fiber that is also finished by hand with a sheer finish. The fur-trimmed neckline will wrap your neck in the most luxious and softest blanket of warmth. The links knit base provides a wonderful drape. Wear it as a scarf, hood, or wrap for a variety of uses. This piece is crafted from hand selected, animal-friendly pelts. The fur’s cloud-like texture has a natural weight, depth of color and indulgent softness that only comes from genuine alpaca fur. One of our own University of Nevada, Reno graduate runs this small family-ran Fair Trade company in Peru.
