Eyes, Mind Calm Book, Northern Nevada Haiku

A combination of 50 years of photography through Northern Nevada’s Great Basin and poetic writings of what can best be described as Northern Nevada haiku. At times whimsical and humorous, at times speaking to ancient geology, and natural history evolution of endemic species to the Great Basin. At times speaking to the challenges of two disparate cultures, Native Americans and pioneering white settlers, struggling to comprehend the changes they were going through in the mid to late 1800’s, and what the introduction of non-native species brought to this land. A picture is worth a 1,000 words and 17 syllables of poetry can speak volumes. Eyes Mind Calm combines those two powerful mediums to form a completely original snapshot of both past and present day Nevada. 

We have two sizes: Small format is 11" x 8.5", and the larger, premium edition is 13" x 11". Take your pick.
